Kristeen Widmyer
Kristeen Widmyer is a luxury wedding planner and event designer. Equipped with a strong sense of style, she loves mixing bold and unique designs with traditional elements.
For over 20 years, she’s designed more than 200 intimate social affairs, including celebrity weddings, as well as large-scale events for clients in the entertainment industry. Throughout her career, she’s followed the ever changing and exciting trends in event design; during which she noticed an opportunity to “push the envelope [liner]” for invitation design. With her partner Brian, she aims to offer designs that are new and vibrant, while maintaining a classic and luxurious tone.
Kristeen’s work has been featured on prestigious wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes and Inside Weddings and also by magazines including California Wedding Day, The Knot, Town & Country, US Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter. She is a 4-time winner of “Best Wedding Planner: Los Angeles” in California Wedding Day's Best of Awards (2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019).
Kristeen received her degree in Advertising and Art History from the University of Florida. She lives in Valley Village with her husband Dennis, her sons Weston and Billy and her 3 cats: Rocky, Max and Murphy. In 2020, she took on the role of Creative Director at The Animal Pad, an all-breed dog rescue that focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters and the streets of Mexico.
Brian Larson
Brian has a strong aesthetic background with the graphic design skills to translate wild visual ideas into unique and elegant designs. Drawing inspiration from runway fashion, antique illustrations, and contemporary art, he loves the challenge of combining meaningful graphic elements into digital collages and patterns that exude maximalism.
With over 15 years of experience in the design industry - ranging from fashion sales to photography licensing to the entertainment industry - Brian has worked with top brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Trunk Archive and Warner Bros.
Brian studied design while earning a degree in Playwrighting from Stanford University, in addition to taking courses at Art Center College of Design where he gained expertise in typography, graphic design theory, and print-making. Having worked in the field of User Experience design, he loves thinking about an invitation’s opening ceremony and how to create an unforgettable experience for the guests upon receiving it.
Together with his fabulous partner Kristeen, Brian ensures that each Strictly Personal design is stylish, unique, and a joyous expression of their client’s individuality.
Based in Los Angeles, he lives with his screenwriter husband Michael Kennedy and their adorable pup Lady Scooby Strode, a rescue dog from Mexico who is sure to be your new best friend.
